Terms of Service
Last updated: June 12, 2026
Acceptance
By installing the EarDub extension or using eardub.com, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
What EarDub does
EarDub generates AI voice dubbing for YouTube videos that have captions, playing it in sync with the original video. Dubbing quality depends on the source captions; videos without captions are not supported yet.
Free quota
The free plan currently allows 5 dubbed videos per day, up to 180 minutes per video. We may adjust these limits as costs and usage evolve; changes will be announced on our website. A paid plan with higher limits is planned.
Acceptable use
EarDub is a personal viewing aid. You agree not to: circumvent the quota system, resell or redistribute generated audio, use the service in a way that violates YouTube's Terms of Service, overload or attack our infrastructure, or reverse-engineer the service to extract our provider credentials.
Content and intellectual property
Videos and captions belong to their creators and YouTube. Dubbed audio is generated for your personal listening alongside the original video; we claim no ownership of video content. The EarDub name, logo, and software are our property.
Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is". AI translation and synthesized speech can contain errors; do not rely on them where accuracy is critical. EarDub is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (currently zero for free users).
Changes and termination
We may modify or discontinue features at any time, and may suspend access that violates these terms. We will give reasonable notice of material changes on our website.
